When a bride and groom have a killer sunset on their wedding day, as a photographer you can only hope that you find that perfect location where the bright rays touch upon the blue-green ocean or are peeking through a forest of trees.
Well, the ocean AND forest of trees sunset of our dreams came true for Sarah and Elliot on their Labor Day weekend wedding in Yarmouth.
We began the day with the girls at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport where the reception would be held later in the evening. Bridesmaids and mom helped a super relaxed Sarah prepare for the ceremony. Sarah even had the sweetest gift for her girls - a necklace with the coordinates of where her and each of her bridesmaids met.
Once at the First Parish Congregational Church in downtown Yarmouth, the calmness of both bride and groom never ceased. Elliot hung out in the back of the church while Sarah and her dad spent a few moments out front before the ceremony began.
Oh, and did we mention that we actually met Sarah and Elliot at his brother’s wedding in 2015? It’s always so fun to see our couples after their wedding day and Michelle and Clay were certainly no exception :)
One of our favorite details of the day was Sarah’s bouquet. She included the protea flower which is the national flower of South Africa where she studied abroad in college.
I mean, let’s be honest...everything went off without a hitch and relaxed vibes remained until the reception of course when the dance floor filled up with Yarmouth friends, college friends, and family from all generations.
But, we really cannot forget to mention again how amazing the sunset was that evening on Prince’s Point. See for yourself!
